I obtained my Masters in Artificial Intelligence from Utrecht University. Following I shifted focus towards studying eye movements and the human visual system and received my PhD from the Experimental Psychology Department at Utrecht University. After this I moved to NYC for a PostDoc at the City College of NY. At the moment I'm finishing my NomiNote app (www.nominote.com) and I'm planning looking to return to the Artificial Intelligence field. Outside of human vision and machine learning I enjoy learning about a broad array of topics and trading on the financial or crypto markets (I spent some half a year trading Bitcoin to generate the capital to work on my app). While I'm no craftsman I enjoy working with my hands. I turned my first home from a place with holes in the walls to a very nice apartment and have managed to build a coffee table or two.
